Rachel is Cavallo Therapy's equine specialist.  She has developed her skills and knowledge throughout her personal and professional life - living and breathing horses from a very young age, she's not only an avid equestrian but is also strongly interested in animal behaviour observation and management, a passion that is ever growing.

Rachel trained in Sociology at Newcastle University and has had an extensive carer in customer services management. She has been able over the last 20 years to combine her passion with her professional interests.  Her main focus has been on human and animal behavioural science and horse management.

Rachel has also studied for several years a variety of methods of horse management, interaction and communication. Such as Parelli horsemanship and (Horse) Body Language and Communication with the Equine Behaviour Affiliation (EBA).

Rachel skills and passion allow her to work in synchrony with horses and humans.  She brings in the session natural horsemanship skill which allow her to understand the relationship between horses and humans, read non verbal communication and ensure both the horse and humans safety at all times.
